We met in Madrid on our study abroad. A mutual friend introduced us after noticing we both had the same habit of photographing everything — and we immediately hit it off.
We became fast friends, spending every free afternoon wandering the city with our cameras. When Covid cut the semester short, we thought that might be the end of it — but we kept in touch. Late calls turned into long-distance, and the distance slowly turned into something neither of us expected.
“Let's just keep in touch” — said casually, meant completely.
Eventually Ben moved down to Texas, and we've been together happily ever since. Now we're getting married in Spain, right back where the story started.
And so we'd like to invite you — the people who've been there for all of it, or some of it, or just the best parts — to spend a long weekend with us, eat too much, and dance a little.
