[Placeholder.] We met on a Wednesday, which neither of us thought would matter at the time. There was a borrowed jacket, a long walk home, and a conversation that ran past the end of the coffee.
The first few months were the usual — late texts, a flight booked on a whim, the slow accumulation of inside jokes. Somewhere in there it stopped feeling new and started feeling inevitable.
"Let's just see what happens" — said by both of us, repeatedly, for years.
Years later, on a quiet morning by the sea, one of us asked. The other said yes. The dog was a witness, but he was distracted by a crab.
And so we'd like to invite you — the people who've been there for all of it, or some of it, or just the best parts — to spend a long weekend with us, eat too much, and dance a little.
